Rust update 1.95 is available to download on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official Rust Console 1.95 patch notes, the latest update brings new Underwater Labs monument, Solo and Duo Submarines, and torpedoes. Apart from this, Rust patch 1.95 also fixes gameplay, UI, and visual bugs, enhancing your underwater adventures.
Previously, a major Rust Halloween update 1.64 added a new event, changes and improvements. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Rust version 1.95 will fix a few of these issues.

Explore the Underwater Labs Monument
New Content and Features:
New Monument – Underwater Labs
- Dive deep into the ocean to discover the procedurally generated Underwater Labs.
- Solve puzzles, find loot, and face hostile NPCs.
New Vehicle – Submarines
- Solo and Duo Submarines available for underwater exploration.
New Ammo – Torpedo
- Use Torpedoes at short range to sink ships.
New Feature – Map Markers
- Leaders can now place up to 5 map markers shared with teammates.
New Map Controls
- [Left Stick] controls the cursor.
- [Right Stick] controls the zoom level.
Weapon Inspection
- Check out your weapons and skins via the gesture wheel.
Improved Player Map
- See the layout for each floor of the Underwater Labs.
Improved Teams UI
- Team members’ names change color based on their status.
Gameplay Improvements:
- Status indicators now display correctly.
- Workbench controls are distinct from Map Screen Controls.
- Oxygen levels only deplete underwater.
- Boats maintain speed while turning.
- Players can jump on roofs without being kicked.
UI Fixes:
- Dialogue options fit within the dialogue box.
- Gesture radial menu disappears when wounded.
- Can’t open the gesture radial menu when wounded.
- Can’t spam chat radial menus when disabled.
- Quick Chat no longer has null entries.
- Gesture wheel doesn’t pop up with Quick Chat disabled.
- Workbench Tech Tree cursor isn’t tied to zoom level.
Visual Fixes:
- No visible horizon line on the seabed.
- No pink particle effects underwater.
- No bright pink squares in view underwater.
- Underwater layer isn’t visible above the water surface.
- Items don’t look blocky with smoke effects on.
- No underwater VFX above the water surface.
- No flashing visuals near the water surface.
- Spectator view doesn’t show underwater bubbles or snow particles.
- Map screen controls remain functional after dying.
- Light blue shader disappears after surfacing from water.
- Map cursor centers on the player on the death screen.
Other Changes:
- Players won’t get kicked when joining servers.
- No crashes when joining a server after minimizing the game.
