Rust update 1.90 is available to download on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official Rust Console 1.90 patch notes, the latest update introduces the new monument “UNDERGROUND ASSAULT,” featuring dark tunnels, intense radiation areas, and new weapons and throwables. Apart from this, Rust patch 1.90 also includes various gameplay improvements, quality of life enhancements, and bug fixes.
Previously, a major Rust Halloween update 1.64 added a new event, changes and improvements. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Rust version 1.90 will fix a few of these issues.

Rust 1.90 Patch Notes – February 29, 2024
New Content:
- UNDERGROUND ASSAULT: Introduces the new Military Tunnels monument for intense team battles.
- Gear Up: Explore dark corridors with Night Vision Goggles, and wield new weapons like the P17 Prototype Pistol, Handmade LMG, and M4 Shotgun. Plus, use Molotov Cocktails and Flashbang Grenades.
Gameplay Enhancements:
- Added Features: Military Tunnels feature low visibility, radiation zones, and trigger-happy scientists.
- Weapon Attachments: New attachments like Extended Magazine and Burst Fire Module.
- UI Improvements: Toggle footstep sounds, apply skins directly to items, and see full character models in first person.
- Expanded Emotes: More gestures like Point, OK, and Chicken.
- Map Expansion: 3.5K maps now in rotation for both Official and Community Servers.
Gameplay Fixes:
- Cargo Ship Interaction: Players correctly dragged along by the Cargo Ship.
- Collision Correction: Smoothed interactions and easier movement from water to objects.
- Dynamic Weapon Attachments: Attachments now update dynamically.
- Aiming Mechanic: Aim no longer recenters unexpectedly.
- HUD Updates: Health/thirst/hunger previews now update accurately.
- Environmental Interaction: Place Water Pump in snow biome rivers.
Visual Enhancements:
- Improved Textures: Fixes and improvements to textures and LODs.
- Vending Machine Display: Displays now show correctly.
Other Changes:
- Bug Fixes: Addressed crashes and server connection issues.
- Monument Adjustments: Airfield runway and Outpost train tracks now underground.
- UI Adjustments: Improved readability and resized icons.
- Resource Management: Inventory indicators update properly.
- Stance Indicator: Swimming icon added for clarity.
- Projectile Visibility: Auto Turret Lasers now visible.
