Rust Update 1.014.042 Patch Notes for PS5 and XSX (v1.14)

Rust update 1.014.042 is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Rust console version 1.014.042 patch notes, the latest update improves performance at large bases, fixes Cargo Ship culling and server connection issues, balances Satchel Charge damage against vehicles, enhances Diving Mask visibility underwater, and resolves numerous gameplay, building, UI, and Community Server problems. Today’s Rust patch 1.014.042 also includes online stability and gameplay performance improvements.

Community Server Changes

  • Admins can now destroy trees through the Entity Details menu.
  • Fixed a Kit Machine cooldown bypass when players left and rejoined a server.
  • Unread reports now display correctly when only one report exists.
  • Adjusted player text censoring.
  • Server names are now limited to 512 characters, including HTML color tags.
  • Long Community Server names now scroll correctly in the Server List.

Previously, a major Rust update 1.011.021 added the new World 2.0 features, new cliffs, canyons, lakes, rivers, and desert oases. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Rust patch 1.014.042 will fix a few of these issues.
