Rust update 1.86 details released for PS4 and Xbox One players. According to the official Rust Console 1.86 patch notes, the latest update primarily focuses on resolving connectivity issues related to server list refreshes. Apart from this, Rust patch 1.86 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a major Rust Halloween update 1.64 added a new event, changes and improvements. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues while playing the game. Today’s Rust version 1.86 will fix a few of these issues.

Rust 1.86 Patch Notes – January 15, 2024
- Improved the server list to fix servers not being visible.
- Community servers can no longer make maps larger than 3K.
- Fixed a bug causing teams not to be correctly saved resulting in teams mixing. Teams will clear once more then persist correctly.
- Fixed a bug which prevented players leaving their team when they are in close proximity to the team leader.
- Addressed the service connection issues.
- Added stability fixes.
- Added gameplay performance improvements.
- Other minor tweaks.
Known Issues
- Server list may show maps that exceed 3k after fix but this is a visual issue only.
- Performance issues were detected and will be addressed with the release of 1.87 later this month.
