Russian Fishing 4 update is rolling out on PC (Steam). According to the official Russian Fishing 4 patch notes, the latest update adds ability to separately set the FPS limit in case the game is running in the background.
Previously, a major Russian Fishing 4 update added new fish to the updated body of water and increased the average weight of the existing fish species. Since the last patch, players are experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Russian Fishing 4 patch will fix a few of these issues.

Russian Fishing 4 Patch Notes – June 28, 2023
- Ability to separately set the FPS limit in case the game is running in the background.
- Addition of indicators on the game screen to signal a bite when holding a marine rod and a hooked fish when holding any type of rod.
- Increased wariness of shy fish species to the presence of a running motor, requiring increased casting distance for trolling.
- Adjustment of parameters of the physical model of rods to improve their correspondence to their strength class.
- Increased strength for rod series: Heaven Creek Armada, Heaven Creek Black Edition, Segun Advent, Westhill Royal Picker.
- Picker rods received a bonus that increases the amount of experience points gained for catching fish.
- Fishing shops reduced prices for certain rod models and increased prices for others.
- Increased average weight for various fish species, including Silver carp, Big head carp, Caspian brown trout, Black sea kutum, Kutum, and more.
- Changes in the population and pricing of certain fish species at fish markets.
- Increased number of experience points gained for catching certain types of fish.
- Significantly increased the price of trophy specimens of common species of fish.
- Increased efficiency of fishing with float rigs from the shore on Ladoga Lake.
- Reset the game world, resulting in changes in fish habitats and bait/lure preferences.
