Roblox update 1.98 is available to download on PS4 and PS5. According to the official Roblox 1.98 patch notes, the latest update resolves minor stability issues. Apart from this, Roblox version 1.98 also includes overall performance improvements.
Recently, a Roblox day one patch was released with various fixes and changes. unfortunately, players are still experiencing bugs and issues. Today’s Roblox patch 1.98 will fix a few of these issues.
Roblox 1.98 Patch Notes for PS4 and PS5
- Fixes an issue with tables in the Watch window randomly displaying as ‘nil’.
- Fixes bug where Players.BanningEnabled was not set properly in Team Create sessions.
- Fixes an issue where Constraints don’t affect Attachments in Folder.Folders, even if those Attachments have an ancestral BasePart.
- Fixes a bug where light guides don’t display in Studio when Lights are children of a Detached Attachment.
- Fixes an issue where ParticleEmitters that are parented to Detached Attachments use a nonzero size.
- Next Gen Explorer – Hover effects no longer occur while dragging the scroll bar. Box selecting also no longer starts from the scroll bar area.
- Fixes “Zoom to” not showing in the Explorer context menu for models and attachments.
The following issues were addressed previously.
- Luau autocomplete now prioritizes showing table properties in index expressions.
- Fixes an issue where unicode in the user directory name could cause sound files to fail to load.
- Fixes an issue with lighting property migration when enabling the “Unified Lighting” beta.
- Fixes an issue where pixels would shift on R15 humanoid heads in non-PBR cases. While final pixels on heads might render slightly offset, this is the correct and expected behavior, ensuring the result in terms of diffuse textures is the same whether a head is rendered with PBR or not.
- Fixes an issue in the Next Gen Studio Preview beta where the Move Left and Move Right options on the buttons of a custom tab didn’t always work on the first try.
- Addressed network connection related issues.
- Fixed account related issues.
- Addressed chat and friend request related bug.
- Addressed general stability issues
- Added gameplay improvements.
- Other minor fixes.
