Rise of the Ronin update 1.008 is available to download on PS5. According to Rise of the Ronin 1.008 patch notes, the latest update adds PlayStation Pro support and resolves various issues related to crashes, UI, glitches and stability. Apart from this, Rise of the Ronin patch 1.008.000 also includes general gameplay performance improvements.
Recently, the game update 1.001.002 and update 1.002 adds minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players have been experiencing a number of bugs and issues. Today’s Rise of the Ronin patch 1.008 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming Rise of the Ronin update 1.009.000 will address remaining issues.

Ver 1.08 Fixes
- Added support for the PlayStation 5 Pro.
- Added new graphic setting for PlayStation 5 Pro.
- Added visual and framerate improvements.
- Enhanced visual fidelity that takes advantage of the PS5 Pro.
- Both “Prioritize FPS” and “Prioritize Graphics” settings feature sharper and clearer visuals as well as higher and more stable framerates during combat.
- Fixed an issue where players were sent back to Yokohama after online multiplayer and could not return to Edo. Saved data with this issue will be fixed after applying this update.
- Fixed an issue where treasure chests at Chiba Dojo and Military Academy in Edo would be open before discovered, causing collection rate not to increase.
- Fixed an issue where rifle could become unusable when changing arrow/earthenwareball/file pipe types while switching secondary weapon to rifle at the same time. Saved data with this issue will be fixed after applying this update.
Ver 1.02 Fixes
- Fixed an issue where obtained skill or developer technology could be lost. Skills and technology lost due to this issue will be restored when applying this update.
- Fixed an issue where completion time for Cat Concierge, pilgrim dog and Gardening in the Longhouse would be counted even when at PS5 home screen.
- Fixed issues where characters and horses were sinki8ng into the ground.
- Fixed issues where enemies would become invincible during combat or their models or weapons could disappear.
- Fixed an issues where some equipment was not able to be selected a “Redesign”.
- Addressed game crashing bugs.
- Added UI and visual improvements.
- Addressed combat related issues.
- Added general stability fixes.
- Various gameplay performance improvements.
- Addressed missing audio issues.
