Rise of the Ronin update 1.005.001 is rolling out on PS5. According to Rise of the Ronin 1.005.001 patch notes, the latest update addresses crashes and framerate issues. Apart from this, Rise of the Ronin version 1.005.001 also includes general stability fixes.
Recently, the game update 1.001.002 and update 1.002 adds minor tweaks and changes. Unfortunately, players have been experiencing a number of bugs and issues. Today’s Rise of the Ronin patch 1.005.001 will fix a few of these issues. The upcoming Rise of the Ronin update 1.006.000 will address remaining issues.

Rise of the Ronin Version 1.005.001 Patch Notes
- Addressed game crashes and glitches.
- Addressed framerate drop issues.
- Fixed missing audio issues.
- Added general stability fixes.
- Added gameplay performance improvements.
- Minor bug fixes.
The following changes were added previously.
- Progression Bug: Fixed issue sending players back to Yokohama after online multiplayer, preventing return to Edo. Affected saved data will be repaired after update.
- Treasure Chest Glitch: Addressed issue where chests in Chiba Dojo and Military Academy in Edo were already open, hindering collection rate.
- Weapon Functionality: Resolved glitch causing rifle to become unusable when changing ammo types while switching to rifle as secondary weapon. Affected saved data will be restored post-update.
- Skill and Tech Restoration: Fixed issue where acquired skills or developer technology could be lost. Skills and technology lost due to this issue will be restored with this update.
- Completion Time Correction: Rectified bug where completion time for certain tasks was counted incorrectly, even when on PS5 home screen.
- Stability Issues: Addressed problem where characters and horses were sinking into the ground.
- Combat and Equipment Fixes: Fixed issues where enemies would become invincible during combat or their models/weapons would disappear. Also resolved issue where some equipment couldn’t be selected for “Redesign
