Resident Evil 2 (RE2) Update Version 1.03 Patch Notes for PS4 & Xbox One

Resident Evil 2 (RE2) update 1.03 is now rolling out on PlayStation 4 and PCs. According to the official Resident Evil 2 (RE2) 1.03 patch notes, the update has added Leon and Claire costumes from the original 1998 low-polygon visual look for true nostalgia. Additionally, Resident Evil 2 (RE2) version 1.03 also includes various fixes related to crashing, stuttering, game client, and UI bugs.

Previously, an update was released which added free The Ghost Survivors dlc and new trophies to the game. Unfortunately, since the last patch, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game online. Today’s Resident Evil 2 update 1.03 is expected to fix all these issues. • Change Leon S. Kennedy’s appearance to his original 1998 low-polygon visual look for true nostalgia. *This can be accessed from the “Costume” menu.

Claire Costume: ’98

• Change Claire Redfield’s appearance to her original 1998 low-polygon visual look for true nostalgia. *This can be accessed from the “Costume” menu.

Bug Fixes

• Added fixes for crashing issues with Resident Evil 2 1.03.
• Added fixes for stuttering/lag issues.
• Resident Evil 2 version 1.03 has fixed some glitches.
• Added fixes for framerate drop and freezing issues.
• Added performance and stability improvements.
• Gameplay improvements added with RE2 version 1.03.
• Added other minor fixes and changes with RE2 1.03.
