Remnant 2 update 1.000.025 is available to download on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC players. According to the official Remnant 2 1.25 patch notes, the latest major update addresses performance issues, crashes, and quality-of-life improvements in the game. Apart from this, Remnant 2 patch 1.000.025 also includes numerous bug fixes encompassing progression, archetypes, weapons, trinkets, items, enemies, and UI have been implemented.
Recently, the Remnant 2 day 1 patch was released with various quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, since the release, players are experiencing various bug fixes and errors. Today’s Remnant 2 version 1.000.025 will fix a few of these issues. Read more details below.

Performance and Crashes
Fixed Issues Affecting Performance:
- Resolved an issue related to Archon’s Chaos Gate skill, which was negatively impacting the game’s performance.
- Addressed a performance problem associated with Archon’s Havoc Form skill.
- Improved overall performance during the Annihilation Boss Fight across all stages.
- Fixed a lag hitch issue experienced by hosts when picking up items.
- Implemented various crash fixes and optimizations to enhance gameplay stability.
- Streamlined backend connection processes when joining other players’ games, resolving issues such as general connection failures after the “connecting” screen and joining games with characters carrying extensive gear and items.
Quality of Life
General
- Added an option in Gameplay settings to enable “Hold Sprint,” responding to a highly requested feature from players. This option allows players to choose between Toggle (default) and Hold to Sprint.
- Included an option in Gameplay settings to enable “Toggle Aim” instead of “Hold Aim,” catering to players who prefer toggling their aim instead of holding down the aim button.
- Disabling aim assist while using a controller will now also deactivate aim adhesion.
Gear / Items
- Rigs can now downgrade Weapons, providing players with a refund of 75% of the materials used in upgrades and 50% of the scrap.
- Dwell can now downgrade Mutators, refunding 75% of the materials used in upgrades and 50% of the scrap.
- Added consumable duration information to the advanced stats page in the character menu.
Bug Fixes
Progression & Rewards
- Rectified an issue where the Trophy/Achievement “Maxed Out!” was not properly awarded after obtaining the required number of trait points. To unlock this achievement, players must interact with the World Stone.
- Fixed an issue where players who crashed during the tutorial while interacting with Rigs before receiving an upgrade would become soft-locked in the tutorial.
- Addressed an issue where objectives would not be correctly set if players quit at various locations during the tutorial.
- Corrected an issue where only the player who delivered the final blow to an enemy received credit for the kill towards Trophies.
- Fixed an issue where players with the Thaen fruit buff experienced a soft lock if they were dragged away by the Bone Harvester.
- Ensured that the Bloodmoon door would correctly open during specific Bloodmoon events.
- Resolved an issue where Bloodmoon wisps did not spawn correctly during some Bloodmoons.
Archetypes
Summoner
- Fixed an issue where Summoner’s minions were not receiving shared damage from the Blood Bond trait.
- Addressed a problem where Summoners were unable to summon minions at the checkpoint before the Cancer miniboss fight.
- Rectified an issue where the Dominator perk remained active after switching Archetypes.
- Fixed an issue where minions were not granting experience when killing enemies.
- Resolved an issue where minions were unable to target Sha’Hala.
- Corrected an issue where minions could potentially continuously respawn when interacting with an NPC.
Engineer
- Fixed an issue where players could swap off the Engineer’s heavy weapon after an interaction.
- Addressed a problem where reclaimed Heavy Weapons would disappear if picked up while the player was holding AIM.
