Red Dead Redemption update 1.002 is available to download on PS5. According to the RDR1 update 1.02 patch notes, the latest update introduces game selection screen music on PS5 and fixes an audio bug on Xbox Series X|S that caused pause menu sounds to not play. Apart from this, RDR version 1.002 also includes general stability and gameplay improvements.

PS5: Implemented background music on the game selection screen, matching the feature previously exclusive to PS4.

Xbox Series X|S: Resolved an issue where pause menu audio cues would occasionally fail to play.
