Ubisoft has released a new R6 Siege update 2.79 on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.083), and Xbox. According to the official R6 2.79 patch notes, the latest update resolve deadzone issues on controllers. Additionally, today’s R6 version 2.79 also includes game crashing fixes related to Match Replay.
R6 Siege update 2.79 Patch Notes – July 2, 2024

- Fixed the deadzone issues on controllers.
- Addressed crashes related to Match Replay.
- Added stability fixes.
- Fixed various UI issues.
Previously, a major Rainbow 6 Siege update 2.60 adds operator balancing tweaks including Frost’s Welcome Mat changes, Warden’s armor upgrade, and Tachanka’s damage boost. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.79 will fix a few of these issues.
