R6 Update 2.71 Patch Notes (Version 1.000.075) for PS4 & PS5

Ubisoft has released a new R6 Siege update 2.71 (Y9S1.1) on PS4, PC, PS5(version 1.000.075), and Xbox. According to the official R6 2.71 patch notes, the latest update brings quality of life improvements and fixes. Additionally, today’s R6 version 2.71 also includes general stability fixes.

Previously, a major Rainbow 6 Siege update 2.60 adds operator balancing tweaks including Frost’s Welcome Mat changes, Warden’s armor upgrade, and Tachanka’s damage boost. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s Rainbow 6 Siege patch 2.71 will fix a few of these issues.

R6 Siege update 2.71 Patch Notes (Y9S1.1) – March 26, 2024

Gameplay

  • Fixed a bug where feet weren’t covered by Ballistic Shield when crouched.
  • Fixed a bug where AI Bots got stuck on furniture when moving to the defuser if planted in the southeast corner of 1F Bar on the Chalet map.
  • Fixed a bug where the eliminations counter didn’t update if more than 3 targets were eliminated at the same time in Map Run Target Mode.
  • Fixed a bug where the wrong room was marked as complete for the 4th step of Map Run on the Coastline map.
  • Fixed a bug where there was wrong magnification for the .44 Mag Semi-Auto.
  • Fixed a bug where players could double vault using a Deployable Shield and Azami’s Kiba Barrier to reach areas providing unintended lines of sight.

Level Design

  • Fixed a bug where defenders were detected outside between 2F Yellow Corridor and 2F Cafe Corridor on the Theme Park map.
  • Fixed a bug where players could vault onto a cabinet located in 2F Tea Room on the Skyscraper map.
  • Fixed a bug where defenders were detected outside in 1F Main Stairs on the Border map.
  • Fixed a bug where walls clipped through the rooftop in EXT Bedroom Roof on the Villa map.
  • Fixed a bug where players could navigate onto a metal box located at EXT Sailboats on the Kanal map.
  • Fixed a bug where defenders were detected outside between 1F Blue Room and 1F Joint Corridor on the Theme Park map.
  • Fixed a bug where players were able to navigate onto the top of stacked barrels located at 1F Barrel Room on the Theme Park map.
  • Fixed a bug where the defuser couldn’t be retrieved after dropping it while exiting or entering rappel stance next to a railing in EXT Terrace Balcony on the Outback map.

Operators

  • Fixed a bug where Buck’s Skeleton Key didn’t work as intended when pressing the fire key during the transition animation.
  • Fixed a bug where Deimos’ DeathMARK gauge did not show the cooldown refill in caster mode.
  • Fixed a bug where Deimos’ DeathMARK wouldn’t activate right after switching targeted operators.
  • Fixed a bug where Bandit’s Shock Wire persisted when affected by EMP grenades.

User Experience

  • Fixed a bug where reputation values were inaccurate when a player had negative tiles with actions displayed in the Reputation tab.
  • Fixed a bug where there was a rendering issue upon viewing the main and subcategories of the Locker.
  • Fixed a bug where navigation keys had no functionality inside the intro page of the Battle Pass.
  • Fixed a bug where unintended guard break animation occurred after stepping on a fire source when using a Ballistic Shield.
  • Fixed a bug where FPS dropped when players quickly passed over Operators in the Operators tab.
  • Fixed various UI issues.
