R6 Update 2.54 Patch Notes (Ver. 1.000.058) for PS4 & PS5

R6 update 2.54is available to download on PS4, PC, PS5(Version 1.000.058), and Xbox One. According to the official R6 Siege 2.54 patch notes, the latest update brings operator balancing where Vigil and Nøkk receive changes to their abilities, while Thorn and Oryx get minor adjustments. Additionally, today’s R6 version 2.54 also resolves gameplay issues like missing ammo and device detection, as well as user experience improvements related to the Battle Pass and Squad invites, are addressed.

Previously, a major R6 Siege update 2.45added a new operator, a new gadget, a new ranked map, and much more. Recently, hotfix 2.45 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege update 2.54 will fix a few of these issues.

R6 2.54 Patch Notes (Y8S2.3) – July 11, 2023

Operator Balancing:

Vigil:

• Glitching Behavior: Vigil will share the same glitching behavior as Nøkk.
• ERC-7 Video Disruptor: It will not be deactivated when performing certain actions, such as shooting, and instead will trigger the glitch effect on cameras.
• Interaction with Lion’s EE-ONE-D and Grim’s Kawan Hive: Vigil won’t be immune to these gadgets. They will detect him, but he can prevent being pinged by activating the ERC-7.

Nøkk:

• HEL Gadget Ability: It no longer reduces movement sounds.
• Maximum Duration: Increased to 20 seconds from 12.
• New Glitching Sources: Added glitching sources such as being flashed or pushed.
• Interaction with Alibi’s Prisma: Nøkk is no longer immune to it. It will detect her, but she can prevent being pinged by activating her HEL gadget.

Thorn:

• UZK50GI: Added a 1.5x sight to the weapon.

Oryx:

• Hatch Climb Speed: Increased by 30%.

Bug Fixes:

Gameplay:

• Missing Unlimited Ammo: Fixed the issue of missing unlimited ammo in the Snipers Arcade after joining a match in progress.
• Device Detection Issue: Fixed the issue where devices placed on the back wall of 2F Main Stairs in the Skyscraper map were detected outside.

User Experience:

• Battle Pass Map Flashing: Fixed the issue of the Battle Pass map flashing on the screen when going to the Progress section.
• Squad Invite Error: Fixed the error received when accepting a Squad invite from a player who was part of the same Squad in a previous match.
• Shop and Customization Issues: Fixed various issues related to the Shop and Customization features.
