R6 Update 2.46 Patch Notes for PS4 & PS5 (Ver. 1.000.050)

Ubisoft has released a new R6 update 2.46 on PS4, PC, PS5(Version 1.000.050), and Xbox One. According to the official R6 Siege 2.46 patch notes, the latest update resolves several issues related to gameplay, audio, operators, and UI. Additionally, today’s R6 Siege version 2.46 also includes stability and performance fixes.

Previously, a major R6 Siege update 2.45 added a new operator, a new gadget, a new ranked map, and much more. Recently, hotfix 2.45 was also released with minor tweaks. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing issues with the game. Today’s R6 Siege update 2.46 will fix a few of these issues.

R6 Patch Notes (Y8S1.1) – March 21, 2023

Gameplay:

  • Addressed a bug where Maestro’s Evil Eye, Valkyrie’s Black Eye, and the Bulletproof Camera cannot be accessed in PVP matches with the unique ability input button.
  • Addressed a bug where Brava’s Kludge Drone does not display out of range feedback on HUD when failing a hack due to distance.
  • Addressed a bug where the reload animation for 6P41 doesn’t start from the same spot when cancelled while inserting the magazine.
  • Addressed a bug where Hack VFX does not switch team colors after hacking a Defender drone converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone, then converted again with Mozzie’s Pest.
  • Addressed a bug where Zero’s Argus Camera is destroyed by electrified walls when hacked by a Kludge Drone controlled by Mozzie.
  • Addressed a bug where Bailiff 410 reload animation does not play properly after firing a bullet during the reload animation.
  • Addressed a bug where IQ’s Electronics Detector doesn’t detect Claymores or Nomad’s Air Jab that are converted by a Kludge Drone controlled by Mozzie.
  • Addressed a bug where IQ’s Electronics Detector doesn’t show wave VFX on Observation Tools converted by a Kludge Drone controlled by Mozzie.
  • Addressed a bug where Grenade Launcher projectiles and Kaid’s Electroclaw are not caught by Wamai’s Mag-NET if it’s been converted while an elite skin is equipped.
  • Addressed a bug where Glitch VFX shows on Bulletproof Cameras after Mute’s Signal Disruptor converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone is destroyed.
  • Addressed a bug where IQ’s Electronics Detector detects Solis at all times.
  • Addressed a bug where a bullet hole exploit allowed for unfair lines of sight on Kafe Dostoyevsky map.
  • Addressed a bug where the .44 Magnum magazine appears from the top of the screen during reload animation.
  • Addressed a bug where drone order is incorrect in Observation Tools when switching between a Kludge Drone controlled by Mozzie’s Pest and other drones controlled by Mozzie.

Audio:

  • Addressed a bug where Echo’s Yokai is missing deactivated state SFX after being hacked by Brava’s Kludge Drone and going within range of Mute’s Signal Disruptor.

Operators:

  • Addressed a bug where Maestro’s Evil Eye open and shoot prompt was missing after being converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone.
  • Addressed a bug where Hack VFX was visible on screen after Brava took back a Kludge Drone previously hacked by Mozzie’s Pest.
  • Addressed a bug where Brava’s Commando Striker Uniform replaced the position of the default uniform in the uniforms menu after unlocking the Brava Guerreira Bundle tile in Battle Pass.
  • Addressed a bug where Thorn’s Razorbloom Shell remained visible after being destroyed by a Mag-NET converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone.
  • Addressed a bug where Zero’s Argus Launcher Laser had white team color regardless of what was set in the accessibility options.
  • Addressed a bug where Echo’s Yokai firing VFX was missing in first person and misplaced in third person.
  • Addressed a bug where defenders received negative score points when destroying converted security cameras by Brava’s Kludge Drone.
  • Addressed a bug where Azami’s Kiba Barriers were not caught by a Mag-NET converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone.
  • Addressed a bug where Brava’s Kludge Drone consumed a charge even when the device was picked up before a successful conversion.
  • Addressed a bug where Lesion’s Gu Mines were not caught by a Mag-NET converted by Brava’s Kludge Drone.

Improved user experience by addressing the following issues:

  • Various LOD issues on various maps.
  • Various Shop and Customization issues.
  • Various Localization issues.
  • Play Again button in Play section wasn’t working.
  • Opening and closing the Battle Pass minimap prolonged item loading times.
  • Operator icon in unique ability loadout preview was displayed multiple times on some operators.
  • Placeholder names and art present for attachment skins instead of a bundle.
  • Parade Companion drone skin was incorrectly listed as a unique drone skin.
  • Penalty sanction pop-ups appeared during custom games.
  • Overlapping text was displayed on all weapon skins that are a part of a bundle.
  • Device icons overlapped with success icon while Brava’s Kludge Drone was converting a device.
  • The Copper card background was displayed instead of the Champion one in the Rank and Rewards section.
  • Detail info wasn’t displayed after the user switched to another elite while watching a victory celebration.
  • Background didn’t scale properly in different menus after changing the aspect ratio to 21:9.
  • User wasn’t returned to the Home section if the Battle Pass expired while navigating through the Battle Pass.
  • Operator Guide in Match Replay controls.
  • Brava’s Guerreira bundle in Battle Pass contained art from another bundle.
  • Y7S4 rewards in unused token conversion popup appeared as locked unless Y8S1 Premium Pass was purchased.
  • Rewards to be received weren’t displayed properly when buying Battle Pass levels.
  • Operator Portraits didn’t display correct Operator icons in the enlarged Battle Pass map.
  • Prices weren’t displayed in item previews in the Bravo Collection.
