PUBG update 2.83 is rolling out on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official PUBG 2.83 patch notes, the latest update 33.1 introduces destructible gameplay in Sanhok, SMG improvements, Red Zone changes, and social enhancements like Same Language Team. Seasonal rewards, new Survivor Pass content, and upgraded visuals round out the update. Additionally, PUBG console version 2.83 also fixes vehicle, UI, and console-specific issues.

World: Sanhok – Destructible Map
- Introduced Destructible Terrain feature to Sanhok:
- Buildings and objects are destructible using Frag Grenade, Mortar, Panzerfaust, Sticky Bomb, C4, and Red Zone.
- Different durability levels for concrete, wood, steel, and stone structures.
- Certain trees are destructible; some objects remain indestructible.
- Applied to Normal Match and Custom Match – Normal Mode.
- Area Modifications:
- Redesigned rice fields, rivers near Bootcamp, and overall building visuals.
- Standardized fences in Mongnai.
- Red Zone:
- Active from Phase 1, now capable of destroying terrain and structures.
- Map and Texture Updates:
- Updated World Map and Minimap.
- Enhanced Clear weather textures, cliffs, rocks, and plants.
Spawn Adjustments
- Items:
- Added Sticky Bomb to world spawns.
- Increased spawn rates for Frag Grenade and Panzerfaust.
- Reduced spawn rate for Gas Can.
- Removed P18C, R1895, R45, and Skorpion.
- Vehicles:
- Increased spawn rates for Coupe RB, Rony, Tukshai, Scooter, and Motorbike.
- Reduced spawn rates for Boat and Aquarail.
- Removed Buggy and Dirt Bike.
Gunplay
- SMG Rebalance:
- Increased firing accuracy for all SMGs (except P90) across hip-fire, sustained fire, and movement.
- Reduced bullet spread during sustained fire for better stability.
- 9mm Ammo:
- Weight reduced by 20% for easier looting and storage.
Gameplay: Red Zone
- Applies to all maps with Red Zone:
- Red Zones now generate only within the Play Area.
- Reduced damage; explosion patterns adjusted.
- Introduced missile impact-based explosions with visual and audio cues.
Social Features
- Same Language Team:
- Match with teammates who share your language in Duo and Squad modes (Normal Match only).
- Revamped Team Finder:
- Teams automatically formed based on language, server, and mode.
- Available in Normal Match and Casual Mode.
Ranked and Rewards
- Season 33:
- Added Ranked FAMAS weapon skins as permanent rewards.
- Leaderboard reset after server maintenance.
- Season 32 Rewards:
- Emblems, Medals, and Ranked weapon skins awarded based on final Tier.
Customization and Survivor Pass
- New Feature: Lobby Poses:
- Profile poses upgraded to Lobby Pose items, now applicable across multiple menus.
- Survival Level rewards converted to Lobby Pose items.
- Survivor Pass: Let It Snow:
- New pass introduced with festive content.
Miscellaneous Improvements
- Replay and Death Cam temporarily disabled for Sanhok due to technical issues.
- Enhanced visuals for explosions, environmental elements, and new foliage.
Previously, a major PUBG update 2.18 added a brand new vehicle – the Food Truck, Changing Weather, various map improvements on Deston, and more. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s PUBG patch 2.83 will fix a few of these issues.
