PUBG update 2.79 is rolling out on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official PUBG 2.79 patch notes, latest update addresses bugs related to jumping, radio message settings, and screen ping markers. Additionally, PUBG console version 2.79 also includes stability fixes.
PUBG 2.79 Patch Notes – October 23, 2024
Character Jump in FPP Mode
- Fixed an issue where the character jumped higher than intended while unarmed or holding a melee weapon in first-person perspective (FPP).
Dead Zone Option Reset
- Resolved a bug where the Dead Zone option on the right side would reset to 0 when switching between pages of the radio message wheel.
Screen Ping Marker Issue
- Fixed an issue where moving the camera with the R stick while placing a Screen Ping Marker would create a marker along the camera’s path unintentionally.
Previously, a major PUBG update 2.18 added a brand new vehicle – the Food Truck, Changing Weather, various map improvements on Deston, and more. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s PUBG patch 2.79 will fix a few of these issues.
