PUBG Update 2.58 Patch Notes for PS4 & Xbox (28.2)

PUBG update 2.58 (28.1) is available on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official PUBG 2.58 patch notes, the latest update brings various features and improvements, including map rotations, gunplay adjustments, utility belt changes, gameplay enhancements, and bug fixes. Apart from this, PUBG console version 2.58 also includes general stability fixes.

Previously, a major PUBG update 2.18 added a brand new vehicle – the Food Truck, Changing Weather, various map improvements on Deston, and more. Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing issues with the game. Today’s PUBG patch 2.58 will fix a few of these issues.

PUBG 2.58 Patch Notes (28.2) – March 21, 2024

PUBG 7th Anniversary Celebration:

Erangel Transformation: Erangel has undergone a festive makeover for PUBG’s 7th birthday celebration. Explore the revamped School and anniversary cafes across the map for a lively atmosphere.
Lucky Vending Machines: Discover vending machines with a playful twist in our anniversary cafes, where there’s a 7% chance of receiving a bounty of 7 energy drinks.
Special Items: Look out for throwable cupcakes and surprise gift boxes scattered across the starting island of each map, along with 7th Anniversary billboards and various decorations.

Gunplay Labs Update:

SMG Rebalance: The SMG Rebalance, outlined in the PUBG 2024 Roadmap, is now available in the Arcade. Share your feedback through our survey to help shape future updates.
Survey Period: Participate in the survey from March 13 to April 4, with different schedules for PC and console players.

SMG Adjustments:

Movement Speed: Modified basic movement and sprint speeds when wielding SMGs to align with unarmed speeds.
Weapon Specific Changes: Detailed adjustments to individual SMGs including damage increases, recoil reductions, and adjustments to damage by distance.
Player Feedback: Your input is crucial in finalizing these balance adjustments. Test the changes in Arcade and Custom Match and let us know your thoughts.

Recall System Update:

Vikendi and Taego Changes: Based on player feedback, the Recall System now replaces Comeback BRs on Vikendi and Taego maps in Normal Match mode.
Custom Match Addition: The recall system setting for Vikendi and Taego is now available in Custom Match.

Utility Belt and Gameplay Updates:

Utility Belt Removal: The Utility Belt and its skins will be removed in this update, with compensations provided to players who own Utility Belt skins.
Ghillie Suit Slot: A dedicated inventory slot for the Ghillie Suit has been added to help players manage their outerwear more effectively.

Expanded Weapon Mastery:

Throwables Mastery: Weapon Mastery now includes seven new weapons, including frag grenades, molotov cocktails, and more. Damage inflicted with these weapons will be reflected in your stats.

Bug Fixes and Improvements:

Gameplay Fixes: Addressed various gameplay issues including character movement glitches, safe zone placement, and reload animation bugs.
World and UI Fixes: Fixed collision, texture, and performance issues, along with improvements to user interface elements such as token images and cosmetic effects.
Items and Skins: Resolved clipping issues and inconsistencies with skin cosmetics, ensuring a smoother visual experience for players.
