Predecessor update 0.9 is available to download on PC(Steam). According to the official Predecessor patch notes, the latest update brings significant improvements to in-game chat moderation, audio mixing, and introduces a new Hero named TwinBlast. Apart from this, Predecessor update 0.9 also includes bug fixes, a new rare skin for TwinBlast, and changes to game files, aiming to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
Previously, a major update added first ever original Hero (Kira) and a long list of bug fixes and gameplay changes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing several issues since the last major patch. Today’s Predecessor patch 0.9 will address a few of these errors.

Predecessor Patch Notes – July 11, 2023
- Sound Improvements:
- The Sound Team has made significant improvements to audio optimization and delivery during matches.
- Fully spatialized enemies and allies enhance clarity and navigation in the game.
- Balance adjustments and the addition of a limiter prevent audio clipping and address crash issues.
- Improved Chat Moderation:
- The update includes the deployment of an AI technology for automated moderation of in-game chat messages.
- Hostile, insulting, or discriminatory language will be detected and appropriate sanctions applied.
- Focus on tackling toxicity in the game.
- New Skin – Shadow Ops TwinBlast:
- Introducing a new rare skin for TwinBlast called Shadow Ops, with a covert-operative look.
- Hero Balance Changes:
- Crunch’s ReCrunch combos receive increased total physical power scaling.
- Kira’s raw damage is reduced, mana cost is introduced, and her ultimate can trigger on-hit effects.
- Murdock’s attack speed growth and cooldown of Shots Fired passive are adjusted.
- Phase’s healing potential is decreased, and mana cost of using Pull is made more significant.
- Item Balance Changes:
- Time-Flux Band and Saphir’s Mantle receive adjustments for improved balance.
- Assassin Balance Changes:
- Infernum’s damage output is decreased to bring it in line with other options.
- Bug Fixes:
- Various bug fixes related to visuals, gameplay, crashes, and user interface.
