Predator Hunting Grounds Update 2.68 Patch Notes (Ver. 1.017)

Predator Hunting Grounds update 2.68 (version 1.017.000) is rolling out on PS4, PS5 and PC. According to the official Predator 2.68 patch notes, the latest update introduces the Jotun Predator DLC with early access to the Shock Gauntlet weapon, adds lighting improvements across maps, fixes melee damage issues for Fireteam, adjusts night-map visuals, and updates the Feral Predator’s default skin pattern. Apart from this, Predator update 1.017 also includes stability fixes.

Jotun Predator DLC

New Premium Class

  • Adds the Jotun Predator, a brutal, cybernetically-enhanced Yautja known for raw physical dominance.

  • Inspired historical myths after centuries of savage combat encounters.

  • Grants early access to the new Shock Gauntlet.

  • Emits high-intensity ultrasound pulses forming a disruptive sonic field.

Fireteam

  • Fixed an issue allowing players to deal up to triple intended melee damage.

Maps

  • Applied lighting improvements across all maps.

  • Resolved night-map material reflectivity inconsistencies under certain light sources.

  • Fixed lighting discrepancies between Predator and Fireteam perspectives on night maps.

Predator

  • Adjusted the Feral Predator’s default skin pattern.

Previously, a major update added Hunting Party pack 3 with 3 new playable Predators (Celtic, Chopper and Scar). Unfortunately, since the last major update, players are experiencing performance issues. Today’s Predator Hunting Grounds version 1.017 will fix a few of these issues.
