Planetside 2 update is now available to download on PC. According to the official PlanetSide 2 patch notes, the latest update introduces significant changes, including a revamped warzone rotation system, new music in Sanctuary, and the introduction of Member Bundles. Additionally, various bug fixes and sales events are included in this update.
Previously, a big update added the latest version of the game engine to the console. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game.

Planetside 2 Patch Notes – May 15, 2024
- New Warzone Rotation System:
- Warzone rotation after alerts has been reworked.
- Two new settings added: ability to skip Warzones during selection and a chance for Warzones to be selected.
- Rotation is no longer static; it shuffles slightly over time.
- Oshur is less likely to be selected, and after selection, it won’t be chosen again for several rounds.
- Oshur now has a near instant alert for quicker completion.
- New Music in Sanctuary:
- A new music composition inspired by the Main Title Theme of the first game in the series has been added to Sanctuary.
- Member Bundles:
- Prime bundles replaced with “Member Bundles.”
- Each month, a Prime bundle is reintroduced and offered to members for 10 certs.
- May Member Bundle includes NSX Fusion Blade Deadeye Helmet.
- Additional Additions:
- Combat Medic Class Decal, Banner, and Banner Frame added to the Depot.
- Razzle Dazzle Camo added to Exceptional VIII Directive Tree.
- Serbian Flag decal and Aviator Helmets added to the Depot for all factions.
- Infantry cosmetics are on sale for 40% off during the Mother’s Day Sale.
- Known Issues:
- Member bundle available for 1 DBC, unintended but players can use until removed.
- Alerts may not trigger properly, causing Warzones to get stuck in rotation.
- Bug Fixes:
- Friends list fixed with a substantial system rewrite.
- Outfit chat refactored for correct functionality.
- The Conduit should no longer be lost if a facility is reclaimed.
- Various audio-related fixes for weapons, spawn Sunderers, and ambient noises.
- Correct reload animations for certain weapons.
- Lunar Dragon Helmet now displays faction colors correctly.
