PlanetSide 2 update 2.17 is now rolling out for PS4 players. According to the official PlanetSide 2 2.17 patch notes, the latest hotfix brings some minor quality of life changes. Apart from this, PlanetSide 2 version 2.17 also includes stability and performance improvements.
Previously, a big update 2.15 was released which added new vehicles like theBastion Fleet Carrier&Colossus Heavy Tank, new gameplay systems likeWar Assets & Facility Modules, and an entirely new social space inSanctuary.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues when trying to play the game. Today’s PlanetSide 2 patch 2.17 is expected to fix these issues.

What is new in Planetside 2 PS4 update 2.17?
– We believe we’ve tracked down the bug that would cause the Outfit menu to occasionally come up blank. Our QA spend quite a while attempting to repro it yesterday and were unable. If you get it to happen after this patch, please reply.
– Fixed the #2 most common client crash that has been happening for a while now. It seemed to happen most frequently when warping and/or redeploying (anything that would initiate a loading screen).
– Bastion map indicators should now orient correctly.
