Planet Zoo game update 1.18 is available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Planet Zoo 1.18 patch notes, the latest update adds seven new animals, 95+ scenery pieces, a new scenario, and free content like the African Leopard. Apart from this, Planet Zoo patch 1.18 also includes new avatar outfits and a limited-time community challenge.
Previously, a major update 1.11.1 added new content (Conservation Pack) and a long list of bug fixes to the game. Unfortunately, players are experiencing problems with the game since the last patch. Today’s Planet Zoo patch 1.18 will fix a few of these issues.

New Animals in Zookeepers Animal Pack
- Pallas’s Cat – Oldest living cat species.
- Hamadryas Baboon – Striking with structured social dynamics.
- Markhor – Largest goat species with spiral horns.
- Spectacled Bear – South America’s only native and smallest bear.
- African Spurred Tortoise – Weighs over 120lbs.
- Kirk’s Dik-Dik – Delicate and speedy.
- Coquerel’s Sifaka – Agile tree-dwelling primate.
New Scenery and Objects (95+ Items)
- Picnic Benches – For guest seating and dining.
- Marquee Tents & Bunting – Decorative elements for zoo anniversary.
- Lanterns & Lights – To illuminate zoo pathways.
- Animal Signs & Statues – For new animal species in the pack.
- Maypole Ribbons & Metal Pole Structures – Themed decorations.

- Celebrate Planet Zoo’s 5th Anniversary by preparing Frontier Zoo with Emma Goodwin.

Free Update 1.18.0
- New Animal: African Leopard – Free for all players.
- New Avatar Hats: Snow Leopard, Tree Frog, Moose, Giraffe.
- New Scenery Items: Editable signs, apple trees, paper tassels.
- New Enrichment Item: Veggie Jelly Cake – Free for animals.
- Community Challenge: Release 5 animals to receive a boosted one with a chance for Piebald or Albino traits. Release 20 to unlock a full avatar outfit.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Animals: Fixed juvenile Alpine Goats unable to access enrichment and animation issues with other species.
- Staff: Prevented staff from getting stuck inside souvenir shops.
- Guests: Fixed issues with guest visibility in certain blueprints and getting stuck.
- UI: Rehome button functionality for domesticated animals fixed.
- Stability: Various crash fixes to improve game stability
