Kinetic Games has released a new Phasmophobia patch 1.000.030 (v0.16.1.0) on PS5, Xbox, and PC(Steam). According to the official Phasmophobia 0.16.1 patch notes, the latest Cursed Hollow event introduces rotating objectives, shared progression, and the first wave of cosmetic rewards tied to a future character update. Apart from this, Phasmophobia update 1.000.030 also includes new gameplay modifiers involving Forest Minions, and several map and audio fixes.

New Event Content

- Players who complete the cosmetic goal will be able to equip items immediately once the update goes live 👻
Gameplay Changes
- Revealing a lucky Forest Minion now reduces ghost speed by 10 percent; effect stacks

Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Cursed Hollow Altar in the warehouse now transforms correctly when community and personal goals are met
- Resolved an issue on 6 Tanglewood Drive where Blood Moon rain lacked audio
- Corrected fingerprint size display on 6 Tanglewood Drive
- Additional minor fixes and general stability improvements applied 🛠️
Known Issues
- Forest Minion jumping sound volume remains higher than intended
Previously, a major update 1.000.021 added Voice Recognition on consoles, allowing players to interact with ghosts using their voice. Unfortunately, players still facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Phasmophobia version 1.000.030 will fix a few of these issues.
