Phasmophobia Update 1.000.028 Patch Notes (v0.15.1.0)

Kinetic Games has released a new Phasmophobia patch 1.000.028 (v0.15.1.0) on PS5, Xbox, and PC(Steam). According to the official Phasmophobia 0.15.10 patch notes, the Winter’s Jest event has returned with Krampus sightings, alongside a limited-time Double XP and money boost. Several ghost presentation rules have been updated, Nell’s Diner unlock requirements adjusted, and overall RAM usage reduced. Apart from this, Phasmophobia update 1.000.028 also delivers numerous bug fixes, with a strong focus on Nell’s Diner, VR issues, and stability improvements.

Event News

Winter’s Jest

• The annual Winter’s Jest event is now live.

• Krampus has returned as a limited-time ghost model.

• Krampus can appear on any Winter’s Jest event map during the event.

Double XP & Rewards

• Double XP and money are active for all investigations.

• Boost is available from 16th to 23rd December at 12PM GMT.

Gameplay Changes

Ghost Presentation

• Banshee will now only present as female in names and ghost models.

• Krampus is now defined as male and will only present as male in names and ghost models.

Journal & Progression

• Ghost types are now sorted alphabetically in the Journal (English only).

• Nell’s Diner now unlocks at Level 5.

Performance

• RAM usage has been reduced across all maps.

• Dead players no longer receive ghost identification event points.

Fixes

General Fixes

• Cabinet trophy titles now translate correctly.

• Ouija Board now responds correctly with numbers.

• Player color and cursor assignment issues have been resolved.

• Steam Deck voice chat now works correctly at the start of contracts.

• CCTV viewing no longer causes disconnections when multiple cameras are active.

Nell’s Diner Fixes

• VR teleportation issues in multiple areas have been fixed.

• Object interactions no longer function when the power is off.

• TV sound now works correctly.

• Obake fingerprint issues have been resolved.

• Ghosts no longer spawn on the roof.

• Players will no longer become stuck in the police car.

• Leaflet Japanese text is now readable.

• Egg models have been visually corrected.

Additional

• Various other fixes and general improvements have been applied.

Previously, a major update 1.000.021 added Voice Recognition on consoles, allowing players to interact with ghosts using their voice. Unfortunately, players still facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Phasmophobia version 1.000.028 will fix a few of these issues.
