Phasmophobia Update 1.000.026 Patch Notes (v0.14.2.1)

Kinetic Games has released a new Phasmophobia patch 1.000.026 (v0.14.2.1) on PS5, Xbox, and PC(Steam). According to the official Phasmophobia 0.14.3 patch notes, the latest update improves lobby connectivity, removes redundant pop-ups, enhances atmosphere with spooky main menu sounds, and fixes CCTV performance drops. Apart from this, Phasmophobia update 1.000.026 also includes stability fixes.

Lobby and Connection

• Fixed an issue where players would get stuck on the “Connecting” screen when joining lobbies through friend invites.

UI and Notifications

• Removed the pop-up message that appeared when unlocking the Child of the Cult foil badge for a smoother experience.

Audio

• Added spooky sound effects to the main menu radio, enhancing the game’s eerie atmosphere.

Performance

• Resolved a performance issue with CCTV, ensuring stable frame rates and smooth performance when focusing on it.

Previously, a major update 1.000.021 added Voice Recognition on consoles, allowing players to interact with ghosts using their voice. Unfortunately, players still facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Phasmophobia version 1.000.026 will fix a few of these issues.
