Phasmophobia Update 1.000.025 Patch Notes (v0.14.2.0)

Kinetic Games has released a new Phasmophobia patch 1.000.025 (v0.14.2.0) on PS5, Xbox, and PC(Steam). According to the official Phasmophobia 0.14.2.0 patch notes, the Crimson Eye Halloween event brings back festive challenges, upgradeable trophies, and new platform leaderboards. Apart from this, Phasmophobia update 1.000.024 also adds UI improvements for Moon Altars.

New Content

Crimson Eye Event

  • The Halloween event returns with team challenges and extra rewards.

  • Players can earn progress toward Personal Goals.

  • Event details available on the official Phasmophobia blog.

Moon Altars Update

  • Moon Altars now appear as ‘Usable’ in-game.

  • Interacting with an Altar makes it disappear.

  • Taking a photo before interaction counts as a Unique Media item.

Crimson Eye Trophy

  • The 2024 event trophy returns with upgradeable tiers.

  • Can be upgraded up to three times by completing Personal Goals.

  • Trophy progression carries over to future Crimson Eye events.

Leaderboard Support

  • Event leaderboards added for PS5, PS VR2, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.


Changes

  • When crossplay is disabled, only players from the same platform appear on the event leaderboard.


Fixes

  • Resolved multiple visual and performance issues for smoother gameplay.

Previously, a major update 1.000.021 added Voice Recognition on consoles, allowing players to interact with ghosts using their voice. Unfortunately, players still facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Phasmophobia version 1.000.025 will fix a few of these issues.
