Kinetic Games has released a new Phasmophobia update 1.000.016 (0.13) on PS5, Xbox, and PC(Steam). According to the official Phasmophobia 0.13 patch notes, the latest CHRONICLE update redefines evidence gathering with new video and sound recording media, a unique media system, and major CCTV, reward, and UI overhauls. Apart from this, Phasmophobia patch 1.000.016 also includes mew challenges and optional objectives refresh progression, while improvements enhance both solo and co-op play.

Known Issues
We aim to fix these issues in a future patch. Please keep an eye out for details and timings.

Some trophies may not be visible in the main lobby for players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2 and Xbox Series X/S.

These trophies will, however, be viewable once the player is in the single-player or multiplayer lobby.

A recordable Sound may spawn in an area that is not accessible to the player.

If a video is deleted, the player will be unable to record another video of that type during the same contract.

The Sound Recorder is not listed alphabetically in the Truck List.

Audio levels on several sounds may be too high.

The Master Volume setting does not affect the Sound Recorder volume.

The SFX of the Sound Recorder can be heard from very far away.

The High Priestess tarot card, if drawn, may not revive the player.

The footsteps of the ghost in Training are not audible.

There may be higher than expected difficulty in getting audio with the Sound Recorder during ghost hunts/events.

The player cannot take a photo of the Thermometer for Freezing temps if their setting is Fahrenheit.
Previously, a major update 1.000.007 added Voice Recognition on consoles, allowing players to interact with ghosts using their voice. Unfortunately, players still facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Phasmophobia version 1.000.016 will fix a few of these issues.
