A new Phasmophobia update 0.10.0.1 is now rolling out on PC(Steam). According to the official Phasmophobia 10.0.1 patch notes, the latest update adds various gameplay fixes and bug resolutions. Apart from this, Phasmophobia patch 0.10.0.1 also adds enhancements to Point Hope, Bleasdale, and Tanglewood environments.

Gameplay Changes
- Games Room: Repositioned the fire gate to eliminate an unintended hiding spot.
- “Lights out” Event: Upgraded UV light from Tier I to Tier II.
Bug Fixes
- Safe Spots: Multiple safe spots have been fixed.
- Spray Paint Cans: Now have impact sounds.
- Event Badge Crash: Fixed crash issue related to event badges and Unity server connections.
- Badge Unlocks: Prevented unlock popups for already unlocked badges.
- Challenge Map: Tutorial map can no longer be selected as a challenge.
- Apocalypse Badges: Players who missed receiving badges will get them after the next game.
- Sanity Drain: TV in Point Hope living room no longer needed to negate sanity drain.
- VR Interaction: Parrot in Point Hope can now be picked up in VR.
- Sound Sensor Placement: Registering correctly in Point Hope living room closet and on the blue rug.
- Chess Pieces: Correct visuals in Point Hope.
- Bucket Stuck Issue: Players can no longer get stuck inside buckets.
- Bleasdale Sounds: Correctly audible on the appropriate floors.
- Bleasdale Hiding Spots: Properly blocked now.
- Bleasdale Devices: Correct floor assignment for sound sensors, breaker, CCTV camera, and player icons.
- Tanglewood Riddle: Removed from Point Hope.
- Photo Camera: No longer breaks when the journal is full; photos do not count towards objectives.
- Phantom Photos: Taking a photo when the journal is full will make the phantom disappear.
- Firelight III: Interaction photos now work.
- Weather Impact: Igniters and Firelights in Point Hope no longer blow out in heavy rain.
- Flashlight Function: Tapping the button will consistently work.
- Thermometers: Tabbing out no longer turns off other players’ thermometers.
Previously, a major update 0.9added quality-of-life improvements and fixes. Recently, a hotfix added a new truck, ghost types, voice recognition overhaul, and more. Unfortunetly, players are facing a number of problems with the game. Today’s Phasmophobia update 10.0.1 will fix a few of these issues.
