PGA 2K25 Patch 1.016 Patch Notes (Version 1.016.000)

PGA 2K25 patch 1.016 is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official PGA 2K25 1.016 patch notes, the latest update fixes MyCAREER freezes, Course Designer slider issues, challenge exploits, and quest visual bugs. It improves MyPLAYER crash stability, UI presentation, online access for child accounts, and adds pot bunker spline tools. Apart from this, PGA 2K25 update 1.016 (1.016.000) also refines Shadow rendering and Oakmont CC visuals.

MyCAREER
- Addressed reported concerns related to MyCAREER freeze occurring after closing the title and attempting to re-enter the save.

Course Designer

- Addressed reported concerns related to sliders behavior when adjusting with the right mouse button in Course Designer.
- Spline support for the pot bunker creation tool has now been added.

Challenges

- Addressed reported concerns related to players progressing challenges by hitting into out-of-bounds areas (e.g., “Going FIR Distance,” “Blown Away”).
- Addressed reported concerns related to course icons in Challenges menu that displayed as ‘0’ or caused errors.
- Addressed reported concerns related to putting from the tee box incorrectly advancing “Record 3 FIRs” objective.
- Addressed reported concerns related to wrong teeset loading in Challenge “Steady Play.”
- Adjusted challenge difficulty in Arnold Palmer Invitational within Tiger Woods Challenge.
- Addressed reported concerns related to index error when missing player card visuals entering the “It’s Windy” challenge.
- Addressed reported concerns related to rewards panel.

- Addressed reported concerns related to quest lock icon visuals in “Oakmont’s Finest” Quest.

MyPLAYER

- Addressed reported concerns related to a potential crash occurring when upgrading certain club types.
- Addressed reported concerns related to Thai Spinner shot type name displaying correctly.
- Addressed reported concerns related to missing outfits after purchase when returning from the Superstore.
- Fitting slots equipped with a fitting now have an Equipment XP % boost

Challenges
- Players will now properly receive VC when claiming VC reward nodes in Challenge mode.
- Improved the visual quality of the Charles Schwab logo when viewed from the map in the Charles Schwab Challenge section.
Scenarios
- Addressed a reported concern related to reward nodes being opened more than once by restarting the game.
- Addressed a reported concern related to the error: “Scenario rewards node with rewards kind Item and null itemId” when entering the Putt Basics map.
- Addressed a reported concern related to player cards appearing broken in the Scenarios rewards panel.
Quests
- Addressed a reported concern related to CHP Season 2 Premium players being incorrectly prompted to purchase premium access when viewing the Season 2 Quest “PGA Championship” with CHP Season 1 active.

Addressed problems with event pin sets not displaying or functioning as expected.
Fixed an issue preventing completion of the “Win an Event” Quest objective.

Addressed screen tearing issues.
Fixed putting grid lines not displaying properly.
Resolved various Proshop-related concerns.
Improved commentary stability.
Fixed issues in the Korean tutorial.

Previously, a major PGA 25 update 1.09 added PGA 25 crossplay between PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox. Unfortunately, since the last PGA 25 patch 1.08, players are facing various error codes. Today’s PGA2K25 update 1.016 will fix a few of these issues.
