Pathfinder WOTR Update 2.09 Patch Notes (2.4.1i) on September 25, 2024

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous update 2.09 (2.4.1i) is rolling out on PS4, PS5(1.000.009), & Xbox. According to the official Pathfinder WOTR patch notes, the latest update addresses Captain Seilkind’s disappearance, an empty hall in Gray Garrison, and fixes for quest bugs, class mechanics, and UI problems. Apart from this, Pathfinder WOTR version 2.09 also resolves various cutscenes and animations.

Areas

Captain Seilkind disappearance in Mineshaft Fourteen – Fixed.
Gray Garrison’s empty hall on the Legend path – Now properly populated.
Navigation improved in multiple game locations.
Ivory Sanctum vampire: Fixed the bug that prevented killing the vampire in the coffin. Now drops “Phantom Slayer’s Bracers.” (Applies only to players who haven’t visited the Ivory Sanctum yet.)

Quests

Woljif’s personal quest (Chapter 3): Dialogue issue when Woljif died – Fixed.
Arsinoe’s map marker for “Morbid Ridge”: Now correctly marks the location.
Yaker’s report to Commander: Only occurs if Regill is a companion.
Lucy and John’s dialogue at “Morbid Ridge”: Fixed repeating dialogue issue.
Lord of Nothing DLC: Companion survival status during ritual now tracked correctly.
Seelah’s death during her personal quest – Fixed.
“The Last Gift of a Brilliant Mind”: No longer marked as mandatory in Chapter 3.
Goblins’ dialogue issue in Visitors from Morta DLC: Fixed for parties without Lann or Ember.

Classes & Mechanics

Commander’s Banner effect: Now correctly applies after Iz and the Drezen scene.
Commander’s Banner in Alushinirra and arena (Dance of the Masks DLC): Fixed (applies only from a new game).
Paladins: Can no longer choose Achaekek as their deity.
Companion death issue at Razmir’s palace – Fixed.
Magus Independent Ego ability: AC bonus now works correctly when holding a sword.
Swarm-That-Walks: Mercenary hiring is now prohibited, even in game expansions.
Grey Garrison trap: Only triggers for player character companions now.
Blood Boil spell in Verdant Caves (Lord of Nothing DLC): Now properly removed after battle.
Character creation (Deceiver archetype): Fixed deity selection resetting issue.
Commander’s Banner buff: Now applied correctly in Chapter 3.

UI

Irabeth’s portrait: Now changes correctly after a specific dialogue.
Interface freezing when clicking on a character’s portrait – Fixed.
Global map movement with active tutorial window: Issue resolved when using a gamepad.

Visual

Cutscene with Arushalaie in Areelu’s lab: Fixed.
Nenio’s final quest animation: Now plays correctly.
Yozz cutscene in Drezen: Resolved freezing issue.

Misc

Dance of Masks DLC: Added option to hide identity during festival interaction.
Companion pets’ chaotic behavior during Nenio’s introduction – Fixed.
Daeran’s disappearance during romance cutscenes – Fixed.

Previously, a major Pathfinder update 1.3.0 added numerous tweaks and fixes for the crusade, various mythic paths, and other aspects of the game. Unfortunately, some players are still facing issues with the game. Today’s Pathfinder WOTR patch 2.09 will fix a few of these issues.
