POE2 update 1.106 Patch Notes – June 23, 2026
Gameplay Changes
- Cultists within the maze in the Crux of Nothingness no longer drop items or grant experience when defeated.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Styrn, Fallen Knight of Aldur could fail to drop an Expedition Logbook when encountered in lower-level areas.
- Fixed a problem with a modifier added in update 0.5.3 for the Grip of Kulemak Unique Ring. The modifier now displays correctly on newly obtained versions of the item. Existing items require a Divine Orb to update the display.
- Fixed an issue where the highest tier Intelligence modifier granted less Cooldown Recovery Rate than intended when transformed by Fists of Stone. Existing items can be updated with a Divine Orb.
- Fixed a bug that prevented Grand Expeditions from spawning Magic and Rare Monsters, including those from Remnant Encounters.
- Fixed an issue where the Atlas screen could become stuck on an endless loading screen.
Stability
- Fixed three client crashes.
Recently, a major POE2 update 1.068 released with improvement for the Fate of the Vaal League with stronger Vaal Unique modifiers, added quality-of-life options in Vaal content, balance adjustments, and a large number of bug fixes across skills, encounters, controllers, and stability. Unfortunately, some players have been experiencing several POE2 server and login issues. Today’s Path of Exile 2 version 1.106.000 will fix a few of these issues.
