Path of Exile 2 update 1.052 (version 1.052.000) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official POE2 update 1.052 patch notes, the latest patch 0.3.0b rebalances Abyssal monsters, improves boss fight telegraphs, and introduces stash and UI quality-of-life updates. Today’s Path of Exile 2 version 1.052 also brings changes for The Soul Siphoner modifier and several Unique items, while dozens of bug fixes and crash resolutions improve gameplay stability.

POE2 patch 0.3.0b Summary of Key Changes

  • Abyssal monsters rebalanced: reduced damage, improved telegraphs, and gradual skill unlocks across Acts.

  • Vessel of Kulemak and several bosses adjusted: unavoidable skills now deal less damage or have clearer signals.

  • Quality of life upgrades: stash tab conversions, improved vendor searches, sprint targeting fix, and new Well of Souls interactions.

  • Major rework to Soul Siphoner modifier and adjustments to multiple Unique items.

  • Large batch of bug fixes, desync corrections, and crash resolutions.

Rise of the Abyssal Changes

  • Abyssal Monsters can now be bound as Spectres.

  • Vessel of Kulemak: Teleport Slam is now unavoidable with reduced damage.

  • Improved telegraphing for arena-wide cleave, easier to dodge in final phase.

  • “Area is overrun by the Abyssal” modifier spreads Pits across more area.

  • Strider of the Pit: Spear Slam has a global cooldown, Storm tracking reduced at distance.

  • Reduced Crystal Wall damage from Abyssal Stranglers.

  • Shepherd of the Pit: movement speed and ground effect damage reduced.

  • Lightless Abomination: additional projectiles now scale correctly.

  • Lightless Moray: improved invulnerability visuals, reduced ignite damage from shade explosion.

  • Abyssal Monsters now unlock skills gradually across the first three Acts.

  • Removed motion blur when Abyssal Pits close.


Other Changes and Improvements

  • Stash Tabs: Premium Tabs upgraded before 0.3.0 can now be converted into Merchant’s Tabs.

  • One-time Campaign Rare Monsters lose fixed modifiers when used as tamed beasts or spectres.

  • Sprinting no longer forces targeting lock on enemies.

  • Well of Souls: Instance Manager (Ctrl+click) enabled, and commands like /hideout usable.

  • Maps without bosses no longer spawn arenas with only rare packs.

  • Vendor search text is now remembered per NPC until logout.

  • Multi-boss fights restart correctly after checkpoint resurrection.

  • Soul Siphoner Modifier: Inner ring reduces damage dealt; outer ring reduces skill speed. Both rings now deal Physical DoT (was Lightning DoT + Mana drain).

  • Unique Items:

    • Husk of Dreams now uses 50% fewer Flask Charges (replacing old flask effect).

    • Forge Hammer recall no longer costs mana; cannot be empowered by other skills.

    • Doedre’s Dark Design now deals Spell Damage instead of Secondary Damage.

  • His Foul Emergence skill updated to support duration/ground effect gems.

  • Rogue Exiles temporarily disabled: Taua, Ulfred, Drusian, Doran.

  • Map Boss arenas (Derelict Mansion, Razed Fields, Arastas, Kriar Village) adjusted for smoother progression.

  • Multiple boss and monster balance updates including Yama the White, Torvian, Krutog, Great White One, Azmadi, Siora, Oswin, Treant Foulspawns, and Quill Crabs.

  • Updated descriptions for Lifetap Support, Meditate, Infernal Cry, Thunderous Leap, and world map icons.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Ancestral Spirits not summoning with Warbringer’s Answered Call.

  • Corrected dodge roll behavior near enemies.

  • Fixed early Currency Exchange access issue for new characters.

  • Abyssal Pits with rewards modifier now functions properly.

  • Whirling Slash travel distance correctly scales with attack speed.

  • Spectres and Tamed Beasts no longer regenerate life while in combat.

  • Fixed reload failures with crossbows and shapeshifted Persistent Skills.

  • Corrected interactions with Brutus’ Brain Support and Starkonja’s Head.

  • Spell Cascade properly increases Frost Bomb limit.

  • Fixed missing Ahn’s Citadel Support and Defy II Support behavior.

  • Twin Bow attack speed normalized (1.1s, was 1.2s).

  • Various fixes to Forge Hammer, Ember Fusillade, Resonating Shield, infusion passives, Grisly Pyre, and endgame maps.

  • Numerous boss arena bugs resolved across Act 4, Azmadi, Siora, Thariel, Manoki, Wetlands, Lofty Summit, Derelict Mansion, Ornate Chambers, and Razed Fields.

  • Fixed rare monster spawns in invalid map locations.

  • Fixed missing monster categories, incorrect debuffs, and Ritual encounter issues.

  • Shield basetypes corrected to include block chance and abilities.

  • Fixed expedition quest progression with Dannig.

  • Resolved stash tab limits (Simulacrum Splinters, Gems, Uniques).

  • Couch Co-Op fixes for Well of Souls, salvage bench, UI navigation.

  • Controller fixes for travel, unpausing, and skill descriptions.

  • Gambler item stat details corrected.

  • Fixed trade filter bugs with negative numbers.

  • Fixed hideout selection issues and shop item display.

  • Cosmetics window “Show only Available” now functions correctly.

  • Passive Tree display corrected in controller mode.

  • Multiple desync and crash fixes, including Forge Hammer, Totems, Earthshatter, Tempest Bell, Storm Lance, and crafting UI.
