Path of Exile 2 update 1.029 (version 1.029.000) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox players. According to the official POE2 update 1.029 patch notes, the latest 0.2.0f hotfix update fixes critical progression blockers, improves performance, and resolves rendering issues affecting AMD users and general gameplay visuals. Today’s Path of Exile 2 version 1.029 also resolves crashes issues on PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox.

Ascendancy & Trials Fixes

Fixed an issue preventing interaction with the Altar of Ascendancy in the Trial of the Sekhemas if Ascendancy points were already earned from Trial of Chaos.

Added a Trialmaster NPC in the boss arena post-defeat to allow passive point refunds.
Item & Affinity Fixes

Fixed: Simulacrum Splinters now correctly interact with the Delirium Affinity.

Fixed: Unique belts can no longer receive multiple charm slot implicit modifiers.
Combat & Monster Behavior

Fixed: Monsters no longer have an increased chance to Light Stun players; reverted to the intended lower chance from 0.2.0f.
Skills & Visual Effects

Reduced: The number of particle effects from Shockwave Totem’s slams to improve performance.
Graphics & UI

Reverted rendering updates from patch 0.2.0f to resolve black screens and missing lighting.

Fixed: Dynamic Resolution issue causing black screens on AMD GPUs.

Fixed: Atlas Map now displays all objectives on Map Nodes as intended.

Waystone Chance Adjustment
- Reduced the required Waystone chance to guarantee Map drops from Final Rares or Map Bosses.
- Change applies to Tier 12+ Maps, with a notable impact from Tier 14+.
- Improves Map sustain in high-tier Endgame content.
