Path of Exile 2 patch 1.021 is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox players. According to the official POE 2 1.021 patch notes, the latest update addresses crashes, improves CPU performance, and fixes gameplay issues. Apart from this, Path of Exile 2 update 1.021 also includes stability fixes.
Unfortunately, since the last POE 2 update 1.006, players have been experiencing several POE2 server and login issues. Today’s Path of Exile 2 version 1.021.000 will fix a few of these issues. Check out more details below.

The first major content update for Path of Exile 2 is now supported.

A spear-wielding Azmeri warrior skilled in both melee and ranged combat.

Exiled for using a skill gem to protect her village.
New Ascendancy Classes

Endgame Improvements

Seven new Endgame Maps with unique encounters.

Essences can now be corrupted with a Vaal orb, leading to:

Rogue Exiles appear in the world, using player-like skills and items.

Defeating them drops all equipped gear.

Strongbox Additions

Four new Unique Strongboxes added.

Strongboxes now feature modifiers that spawn traps and waves of enemies before unlocking rewards.
Raise Spectre Overhaul

Allows trapping and summoning the souls of almost any monster.

Spectres cost Spirit and revive automatically, with cost depending on monster power.
- Enabled the microtransactions from the Penance and Paladin Series of Supporter Packs for use in Path of Exile 2.
- Fixed an instance crash.

The following changes were added previously.
- Enabled the Map Stash Tab. In Path of Exile 2 this has 6 sub-stashes for each tier of Waystone. Each sub-stash can hold 96 Waystones, totalling 576 Waystones that can be stored for each tier. You can change the name and colour for each sub-stash, and individually set each of them to public in order to list your items on the Trade website. - Made an adjustment to improve the performance on Xbox.
- Enabled the Havenwood Cloak cosmetic microtransaction for use in Path of Exile 2.
- Fixed a bug where Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence values on the Passive Skill Tree were visually displaying the wrong attribute value when using a controller.
- Fixed a bug where online item filters could sometimes fail to load when logging in on consoles.
- Fixed a bug affecting Xbox players where their settings could be lost when switching between playing on Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2.
- Fixed an issue where 16:10 was not a supported aspect ratio when using a controller.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent Supporter Pack upgrade options displaying on console.
- Resolved an issue where the Corrupted Skill Gem Level Modifier failed to apply correctly.
- Fixed a bug preventing inherent Weapon Skills from displaying in chat or trade windows.
- Fixed a client crash associated with Power Siphon.
- Corrected a bug (introduced in 0.1.0f) causing players to lose Life or Energy Shield from actions like using flasks.
Performance Improvements
- Adjusted thread priorities to reduce CPU over-utilization, mitigating crash risks in specific conditions.
- Fixed a client crash that could occur during Ultimatums.
