Path of Exile 2 patch 1.044 (version 1.044.000) is available to download on PS5 and Xbox players. According to the official POE2 update 1.044 patch notes, the latest update fixes a bug where, under very specific circumstances, Ultimatum encounters could unintentionally generate the same encounter. Today’s Path of Exile 2 version 1.044 also addresses a bug where the macOS Steam client failing to launch.

- The Reanimator Mercenary no longer has Minion Instability while in the Enemy state.
- Fixed a bug where, under very specific circumstances, Ultimatum encounters could unintentionally generate the same encounter.
- Fixed the macOS Steam client failing to launch.
