Palworld update 1.070.590 (0.5.5) is available to download on PS5, PC and Xbox. According to the official Palworld 1.070.590 patch notes, gliding now requires an actual glider equipped. Glider Pals now offer passive effects instead of direct gliding abilities. Furthermore, the Palworld version 1.070.590 also includes stability improvements.

Gliding System Overhaul

Glider Requirement: Players must now equip a glider to perform any gliding action.

Pals No Longer Act as Gliders: Previously usable glider-type Pals can no longer be used to glide independently.

New Passive Skill from Glider Pals: Glider Pals now provide a passive partner skill effect when gliding, rather than functioning as the glider themselves.
Previously, a major Palworld update 1.000.012 added new changes and fixes. Unfortunately, players still having several glitches, including a black screen, sprint bug, high temperature, and audio issues. Today’s Palworld patch 1.070.218 (patch 0.5.5) aims to fix some of these problems.
