Palia update 0.179 is now available on PC(Steam). According to the official Palia game patch notes, the latest update 50 new Steam Achievements, enjoy refreshed visuals on the login screen and Kilima Village, and embark on Friendship Level 5 Quests for select villagers.
Since the last patch, players have been experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Palia patch 0.179 will fix a few of these issues.

Palia Patch 0.179 Notes – April 23, 2024
New Features & Updates:
- Steam Achievements: Over 50 achievements added, retroactively applied.
- Visual Updates: Login screen and Kilima Village refreshed for Spring.
- Friendship Level 5 Quests: Available for Ashura, Zeki, Tish, and Reth villagers.
- Courtyard Building: Now available for purchase at City Hall store, with multiple configurations.
- Bahari Bay Flowers: Added, with insects dropping Flower Seeds.
- Cyl the Green Plush: Chance to find in Bahari Bay Rummage Pile.
- Ammo Pouch: New tab for arrows, smoke bombs, and fishing bait.
- Tailor Shop Changing Room: Acts like a wardrobe, found near Central Stables.
Improvements & Adjustments:
- Friendship Points Balance: Adjusted for quests relating to specific villagers.
- Map Updates: Coordinate grid added, temples now have dedicated maps.
- Brightness Settings: Now available on PC, along with other PC controller improvements.
- Unstuck Button: Added for quick access in menus.
- Optimization: Improvements for lower-spec PCs and Temple of the Gales air gusts.
Premium Store Updates:
- Outfit Bundles: Three new bundles available immediately, with four more coming on April 9th.
- Shadowstalker Outfit: Featured outfit with special effects when idle and running.
Bug Fixes
Gameplay
- The Proudhorned Sernuk will now properly drop the correct plush at a rare chance.
- You can still obtain The Order Plush as a possible drop from Zeki’s Wondrous Machine.
- Fixed the occasional instances where the prompt to Interact (such as speaking to villagers or reading a note) would not do anything.
- [Switch Only] Fixed the occasional freezing that would occur when pressing B when a store window is open.
Maps & World
- Fixed some inconsistencies with fishable water in the Bahari Bay Statue Garden river area.
- Changing the Field of View no longer incorrectly zooms the player camera in too close.
- Star Quality Ancient Cloudminnow and Ancient Flow Bug are now placed in main inventory so they can be placed as decoration on the Housing Plot.
- Fixed climbable areas in Temple of the Gales following recent climbing improvements.
- Using bait in the Cloud Pools in the Temple of the Gales now correctly catches Ancient Cloudminnows instead of other fish.
- Made additional corrections to fix players who are still stuck on “Silver Wingin’ It.”
