Pacific Drive update 1.007.002 (1.7.2) is available on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. According to the official Pacific Drive update 1.007.002 patch notes, the latest update addresses soft-lock issues, custom music compatibility, and waypoint placement. Apart from this, Pacific Drive version 1.007.002 also includes stability issues.

Bug Fixes
- Soft-Lock Issue: Fixed a soft-lock occurring when driving through a level exit while interacting with the ARC device map.
- Custom Music: Custom music can now be used in DirectX11 mode.
- Stabilizer Teleportation: Exiting the car while parked under a Stabilizer no longer teleports the player on top of it.
- Impact Hammer Recipe: Recipe is no longer affected by scaling options during Q01 and will now scale properly after Q01 completion, addressing issues with higher difficulty presets.
- Siphon Fuel Objective: Fixed jittering during the “Siphon Fuel” objective in the tutorial as fuel is being pumped.
- Waypoint Placement: Resolved an issue where waypoints could not be placed when zoomed in on certain maps.
- Music Overlap: Fixed an issue where default and custom music would sometimes overlap when played in-game.
- Custom Difficulties: Custom difficulties with a period in their name will now appear and be usable in the preset difficulties list.
Known Issues
- Resource Replenishment: The ‘Resource Replenishment’ setting upon returning to the garage is not activating after death.
- Higher Difficulty Map Selection: Investigating issues with map selection for higher difficulties.
- Custom Radio Music: OGG files are less reliable than MP3 files for custom radio music.
- Temporary Solution: Convert songs to MP3 format.
- PS5 Preset Management: Presets are currently not removable on PS5, allowing continuous creation of new presets without deleting old ones.
- Cappy Scanning: Investigating the issue where “Cappy is Unscannable.”
Previously, a major Pacific Drive update 1.6.3 added new changes, fixes, and gameplay improvements. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues since the release. Today’s Pacific Drive patch 1.7.2 will fix a few of these issues.
