Overwatch Update 2.85 Patch Notes (PS4 & Xbox One)


Overwatch version 2.85 is now rolling out on PS4, PC and Xbox One. According to the official Overwatch update 2.85 patch notes, the latest update added quality of life improvements. Apart from this, Overwatch patch 2.85 also includes stability and performance improvements.

Previously, the last major update was released which added Overwatch Archives 2020 event to the game. Players can earn Archives Loot Boxes containing skins, highlight intros, emotes, and sprays inspired by moments from Overwatch’s past.

Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game online. Today’s Overwatch 2.85 is expected to fix a few of these issues. Check out more details below.

  • Achievements listed on the Career Profile page can now be earned in Quick Play Classic



  • Fixed several AI pathing issues in the Archives missions
  • Reduced volume of Slicer’s pre-attack sound in Uprising as they were previously a bit too prominent
  • Added multiplayer improvements.
  • Addressed crashing issues.
  • Performance and stability improvements.
  • Added network improvements.
  • Added stuttering and lag issues.
  • Other under the hood fixes.
