Overwatch Servers are Down, Check Overwatch Server Status here

Overwatch servers are down on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Since the last update, players are experiencing several issues when they trying to play the game online. Players are getting Overwatch error BN-564. Out of those affected, some are experiencing disconnection and login issues. You can check Overwatch server status, maintenance, and downtime details here.

We recommend that you simply check for and install any available console updates. Follow the steps below to see for updates manually. Be sure to allow any updates to install completely before beginning your game installation.

Checking for updates on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

  1. Select the Settings menu, now select System Software Update.
  2. Install any available updates and follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.

Checking for updates on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S

  1. Press the Home button to open the dashboard menu. Now select Settings from the bottom of the menu, then select All Settings.
  2. Select System, then select Updates. Now select Update Console if the option becomes available. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update.

The Overwatch BN-564 error on consoles can occur when the Overwatch servers are down for maintenance.

If maintenance is not occurring, please try unlinking your Battle.net account from your Console. Through Account Settings on Battle.net:

  1. Click Security & Privacy.
  2. Select Connected Accounts.
  3. Click Disconnect next to your Console account.
  4. Close and restart Overwatch on your Console.
