New Features & Updates
DirectX 12 Beta Support
Overwatch 2 now supports DirectX 12 as a Beta feature, allowing multiple graphics APIs for the first time. DirectX 11 remains the primary API, but DirectX 12 aims to improve performance and leverage modern GPU technology.
How to Enable DirectX 12:
- Open Overwatch 2 and go to Options in the main menu.
- Under Video Settings, find Graphics API.
- Select DirectX 12 from the dropdown menu.
- Restart the game to apply changes.
Bug Fixes
General
- Fixed DLSS settings causing rendering issues.
- Resolved an issue preventing access to HDR calibration.
- Fixed a bug where the game incorrectly asked for a restart when no changes were made.
Heroes
Ashe
- Fixed a clipping issue with the Lead Rose Mythic weapon inside the Mythic Shop.
Moira
- Resolved texture distortion when using the Facepalm emote with certain skins
Previously, a major Overwatch 2 update 3.60 added a new game mode – Hero Mastery as well as various changes to heroes, including damage adjustments, cooldown tweaks, and improvements to abilities. Today’s Overwatch 2 patch 3.94 will fix a few of these issues.
