Steep update 1.22 is now rolling out for players on PS4 and Xbox One. According to the official Steep 1.22 patch notes, the latest update has added new map vote feature as well as various fixes for crashing, stuttering, game client, and UI bugs. In addition, Steep version 1.22 also includes stability and performance improvements. Previously, a big update was released with new Steep PvP multiplayer mode and more. Unfortunately, since this update, many players were experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Steep patch 1.22 is expected to fix all these issues.

NEW FEATURES
Map vote – Added a map vote system to the PvP mode. This new system will be initially available on Pc and Xbox one. We want to be sure everything will work well from a technical point of view. In the next few days we’ll evaluate the situation and, if everything will go well, we’ll activate it also on PS4. We’ll share more information about this as soon as they’ll become available.
BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
PvP mode
- Added 5 new multiplayer playlists with new challenges. They will be included in the playlists rotation in the coming weeks.
- The collision system is now less punitive in PvP.
- The reward system has been improved to better reflect how many challenges of a specific playlist you have actually played. To gain the full amount of XP you need to play all of them.
- Taunts are active again during the leaderboard screen, between challenges.
- Starting points of multiple challenges have been improved.
- Fixed an issue linked to the percentage of completion displayed in Race challenges.
General
- Implemented some changes to fix the “Maximum number of lines” stuck issue.
- Fixed few minor issues in the X Games DLC.
- Players will no longer disappear in replays under certain circumstances.
- Added fixes for crashing issues with Steep version 1.22.
- Added fixes for stuttering/lag issues.
- Steep 1.22 for PS4 has fixed some glitches.
- Added fixes for framerate drop and freezing issues.
- Added performance and stability improvements.
- Gameplay improvements added with Steep 1.22.
- Added other minor fixes and changes with Steep version 1.22.
