A new Nordic Ashes update 0.9.5 is rolling out on PC. According to the official Nordic Ashes patch notes, the latest update adds a new Ragnarok, in-game tutorials, and a ton of fixes.
Since the last patch, players are experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Nordic Ashes patch will fix a few of these issues.

Nordic Ashes 0.9.5 Patch Notes – April 20, 2023
- Olga’s Blessing third piece was hard to find as it was Epic tier. It is now a Rare item, so you should find all the pieces faster.
- Chest, potion, artifact and Ascension Crystal info is now shown in the Glossary.
- Shuffling Helga’s Tarot Deck will now be influenced by Cooldown.
- Sacrifice Shrine has been reworked. Enemy souls will enter the shrine if you defeat them by YOU being INSIDE of the circled area. So, it won’t matter if enemies are inside or outside the area. The only condition is that YOU are inside.
- The wave bar won’t disappear anymore during mid-boss fights.
- Thyra’s ulti is now smarter. It will now move and search for the closest enemies.
- Now you will be able to hide requirements in the achievements, leaf and glossary panels with the same keys/buttons.
- Gnöki will finally smile at you when you reach level 5 of Happiness.
- Weapons are now displayed from more to less DMG dealt in the end panel.
- The “+” next to a relic on the end panel will now mean the number of resets instead the number of ascensions, as you will also see the icon of an Ascension Crystal next to the name of the relic.
- Talkor’s THE coin ascension description has been updated.
- The Yggdrasil upgrade “99+” description has been updated.
- The number of times you can revive is now better displayed, next to the character’s heart containers.
- Crystal Soul relic has been reworked. It will double the number of red hearts and turn them into blue ones and will also exceed the limit of 14 hearts if that’s the case.
- Many of you were asking that after unlocking higher difficulty levels, to be able to play them right after a new realm is released. So now, if you have already conquered Expert in other realms, you will be able to play Expert on new realms without having to play Normal and then Hard. The same happens with Ragnarok levels. However, in order to play Ragnarok, you must have conquered Expert on that realm.
Bug fixes
- Axeldör’s hammer wasn’t working properly.
- Amaranth’s xp earning was bugged, so the xp you earned with Ivy was insanely high. It has now been fixed to its normal amount. It also was bugged in the opposite way, not gathering all the xp it should in some cases.
- Electric Rune was only firing 1 projectile.
- Axeldör’s axe was only firing 1 lightning bolt.
- Thyra’s arrows won’t feel “drunken” anymore when playing at high FPS.
