No Man’s Sky update 3.42 (3.042.000) is now rolling out for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox One players. According to NMS 3.42 patch notes, the latest update added a number of fixes and improvements. Apart from this, No Man’s Sky version 3.042 also includes gameplay optimizations.
Previously, a major free update added new changes, fixes and more.
Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues when trying to play the game. Today’s NMS update 3.42 will fix a few of these issues.
No Mans Sky Patch 3.42 Notes (3.042.000)
Fixed an issue that could cause the Galaxy Map to fail to draw a path to long-distance mission destinations.
Implemented a recovery fix for players affected by a previous issue that removed the correct options from Nada and Polo. Specialist Polo will now always offer directions to an Atlas Station or Black Hole.
Fixed an issue that could prevent the Collective Consciousness milestone from being marked complete after purchasing the Myth Beacon.
