Expedition and Fishing Fixes
- Missing Posters: Expedition posters now appear correctly in the catalog.
- Fishing Interruptions: Resolved an issue where fishing was interrupted by players warping out of the system.
- Exo-Skiff Inventory: Inventory size on pre-existing saves for the Exo-Skiff has been increased.
- Duplicate Fishing Rigs: Fixed an issue that allowed installing two fishing rigs at once.
- Fish Behavior: Various issues causing fish to surface above water have been corrected.
- Fishing Float: The fishing float now properly floats on water surfaces.
- Exo-Skiff Protection: The Exo-Skiff now offers environmental hazard protection.
- Lost Angler’s Rig: Minor visual issues with the rig have been fixed.
- Gek Characters: Gek characters no longer appear to talk while fishing.
- Photo Mode: Fixed camera collision with the Exo-Skiff during Photo Mode.
- Skiff Inventory: Cool storage inventory in the Exo-Skiff is accessible when near the vehicle.
- Fishing Bait: Resolved incorrect values generated by food products used as fishing bait.
Freighters, Frigates, and Fleet Fixes
- Fleet Restoration: Partial restoration of freighters and frigate fleets for players affected by galaxy changes in update 5.10.
- Pirate Dreadnaughts: Fixed issues with refiner and extractor contents not saving when warping.
- Ghost Ships: “Aegis of the Void” ghost ships no longer appear in the ship menu after salvaging.
- Squadron Pilots: Fixed the inability to dismiss squadron pilots.
- Optical Drill: Optical Drill is now available in the Space Anomaly’s research station.

- VR Labels: Persistent interact labels in VR have been resolved.

- Save Crash: Resolved a rare crash that occurred when loading saves.
- PS5 Version: Fixed a crash when playing the PS4 version on a PS5 console.
Previously, a major free No Man’s Sky update 4.40 added a relaxed mode, overhauled inventories, revamped UI, and improved missions. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. NMS update 5.12 will fix a few of these issues.
