No Man’s Sky update 4.0 patch notes details are now available for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official No Mans Sky 4.0 patch notes, the latest Waypoint update added a long list of new features and fixes to the game. Apart from this, NMS version 4.0 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a major free Endurance update 3.95 added varied freighter base buildings, including exterior platforms, enhanced nebulae, and so much more. Recently, a hotfix was also released. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues when trying to play the game. NMS patch 4.0 will fix a few of these issues.

TRADE ROCKET
Load and launch apersonal trade rocketto automaticallysell itemson the Galactic Trade Network. Summon the device from anywhere on aplanetary surface, then fire it off to the local Space Station for profit.
RELAXED GAME MODE
The newrelaxedpreset provides anaccessible, laid-back experience of No Man’s Sky. Perfect for players who want toexperience all facetsof gameplay, from story to survival to combat, withreduced dangerand minimal grind.
CRAFTING TREES
Thedetailed stepsforcraftingcomplex products can now bevisualised as a tree, allowing explorers to collect and prepare sub-components in advance.

Interacting with damagedDrop Podson planetary surfaces will now generate amarkerandguide missionto assist the repair process, allowing players to find their way back if they need to gather materials.
INVENTORY REDESIGN
Inventory specialisation has beenclarified. Upgrades are now confined totechnologyslots, allowing more space for items and creating more interesting decisions about which upgrades to use.
To accompany this, inventorycapacityhas been dramatically expanded, withstorage increasedacross all inventories from Exosuits to Freighters.
STORY RECORDS
Historical fragments,alien lore, crucialstory choicesand more will be automatically collated and recorded as you uncover the many secrets hidden throughout the universe.

MILESTONE GUIDANCE
Journey Milestones may now bepinnedfrom the Catalogue & Guide, providing helpful hints and tips to the Mission Log.
EASE OF USE
A huge number of features have been added or enhanced to improve ease of use across the game.
First-person head bob may now be disabled. The maximum number ofCommunication Station iconsdisplayed at once has beenreduced. Cursorcontrol for players using agamepad has been improved. Reticle targeting forinteractionsandwiringis now more forgiving andless fiddly.
