NMS update 5.53 is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official No Mans Sky 5.53 patch notes, the latest update fixes gesture issues, Stellar Extractor slots, freighter warping, Nautilon life support, and Mineral Rig installations. It adjusts S-Class upgrades, X-Class Neutron Cannon bonuses, and Discovery Page entries. Apart from this, NMS version 5.53 also resolves mission issues, decal coloring, duplicate items, ship colors, and weapon rack UI listings.

- Gestures: Prevented gestures from ending when attempting to move.
- Stellar Extractor: Displayed an invalid slot.

- Grafted Eyes: S-Class upgrades now choose 3 bonuses.
- Neutron Cannon: Highest bonus for X-Class was lower than S-Class.
