NMS update 5.51 is available to download on PS4, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official No Mans Sky 5.51 patch notes, the latest update addresses various gameplay, graphical, and stability issues. Apart from this, NMS version 5.51 also fixes planetary harvesting, missing discoveries, and PS5 performance issues.

- Fixed an issue that prevented some new materials from being harvested by planetary extractors.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some flora and mineral discoveries from appearing in the discoveries list after scanning.
- Fixed a rare graphical glitch that caused some creature models to explode.
- Fixed an issue resulting in hangs on PS5.
- Fixed a crash related to networking.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when donating items to a guild envoy.
Previously, a major free No Man’s Sky update 5.20 added a spectral-themed adventure, offering players a unique experience with new challenges and creatures. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. NMS update 5.51 will fix a few of these issues.
