NMS update 5.02 is available rolling out on PS4, PS5(Version 5.002.000), PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official NMS 5.02 patch notes, the latest update resolves issues with player invisibility, synthetic lifeform riding positioning, planetary infestations, and various rendering crashes. Apart from this, No Mans Sky version 5.02 also includes stability fixes.

5.02 PATCH NOTES
Player Issues
- Fixed an issue causing the player to become invisible after jumping and shooting.
- Fixed an issue causing the player to be positioned 50m off the ground when riding some synthetic lifeforms.
Planetary Issues
- Fixed an issue causing some planets to become infested, resulting in a loss of any settlements on that world and minor terrain shifts.
- Restored the infested status of planets to their pre-Worlds state. Newly infested planets will revert to un-infested, and previously infested planets will be restored to their prior status.
Rendering and Crashes
- Fixed a crash related to planetary rendering.
- Fixed a rare rendering crash.
- Fixed a rendering hang.
Previously, a major free No Man’s Sky update 4.40 added a relaxed mode, overhauled inventories, revamped UI, and improved missions. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues. NMS update 5.02 will fix a few of these issues.
